Yoga For Happiness

. Monday, October 5, 2009

Hatha Yoga teachers for their students often learn stress management techniques. Yet how their students learn to be happy, successful, and how to apply these principles in everyday life outside the Yoga class?

This is why we mention the word "practice" in a classroom environment - your life outside of class, at work, Commuting, traffic, and at home, is "real life." It's easy for me to learn how to relax, in a Yoga session, but how will react when you open the mail box or when you hear the daily news?

We know it's easy to let stress take over your life. In good economic times, people worry about moving fast enough to keep pace about them. In bad economic times, people worry about food, clothing and shelter.

In fact, worrying is a problem. Many of us look at something to worry for the moment we wake up from sleep. In this case, it is a matter of focusing the mind on what is really important. Some people refer to this as provides a goal, an achievement or success.

Some of my colleagues argue against teaching students to abundance and success. The general consensus is that Yoga students may abuse these techniques and become greedy. However, the world needs new people and goal oriented, right now.

My feeling is that the world needs more successfully than ever. If we have enough people who are prosperous, many of them will be charitable, as well. Here are some ideas to predict your success in life. You can reflect on them, meditate on them, or remind them, but you must act for them.

Be very specific about your goals. See yourself as successful. Feel what would be like to give to others who need your help. Write down your aspirations and be clear about what you want to meet. There may be some "twists and turns" in life, but do not let concern.

Keep your eyes "in the price." Many people get caught up in very disturbing to every obstacle in life. Let God take care of details. Life is not a great picture, a brush stroke. If you make a mistake, do your best to repair and move forward.

Be ready to "return to a degree." If you remember a road of success, to prepare for a road "long and winding." Do not let changes peeve, because you are navigating through unfamiliar territory. Imagine how Christopher Columbus felt when he saw "all this country."

Finally, look at an example of the success ethic. If possible, do some research as he or she made the achievements you desire. If you see a clear example of this, why should you have to "reinvent the wheel?" It is very easy to replicate success rather than to invent it from "scratch."

Yoga teaches us many things, but Yogic principles should be applied in real life situations. In this way, each of us will experience optimal health and true happiness.
