The practice of yoga is a wildly popular holistic health movement in the United States today. Its history dates back 5000 years, and its phenomenal success has come as a result of the development and the development of this ancient practice.

The teachings of yoga is added before the concept of universal connectedness: another fundamental principle of practice. The stories that flow from these texts also became allegories that formed the foundations of yoga meditations.

One story tells how God instructed prince Arjuna Krishna to free themselves from worldly life and ties to connect the invisible. Arjuna wanted to set his soul free. Krishna gave him a path to follow which would allow the prince to be victorious: he must practice yogic exercises in order to obtain a sharp mind and commitment, to renounce himself, and in this way achieve spiritual release he sought.

Before this time, the main focus has been on the spiritual goals of yoga: meditation to release the soul and spirit. Now, the achievement of physical strength and well-being as was important. The body came to be seen as a vessel that contains vital spirit, and began to use yoga as a tool to maintain health and to encourage a long life on this earth.
